Our Story - Grain Gameworks

Grain Gameworks was founded in 2023 after Michael decided to take some time after graduating from CU Boulder with an engineering degree to work on an endeavor that would test his skills and prove that he could design and engineer a high level project. He worked for weeks designing and building a CNC router from scratch in his garage.

One night at a friendly game night, the topic of tabletop RPGs came up and several people mentioned how they want a nice high quality carrying case for their dice & minifigs, and the spark was ignited. Michael set to work designing and handing out prototypes for friends to test, and soon after, our Etsy shop was launched.

The shop took off enough for Michael to enlist some help with running Grain Gameworks, and so in December 2023, his childhood friend Evan joined the business as a partner. Evan is a lifelong fan of tabletop games with a background in business administration, marketing, and accounting.

Grain Gameworks is still just a 2 man operation based in Michael's garage, and we are always on the hunt for new product inspiration and ideas that the tabletop gaming community wants to see! We place a strong emphasis on product quality and customer satisfaction. We are open to custom orders and we try our best to be incredibly responsive to customer questions to best help our customers receive a truly special piece that they can be proud of.
